Account Manager at Blue Wireless

Based in our Singapore office, your primary focus is getting new customers onboard and taking care of the existing ones. You will be supported with Inside Sales and Technical Support to manage the whole sales process. Since our customers and business partners are both local and global, you will be required to travel depending on the business needs.

Account Management

Client satisfaction is second nature to us, that’s why you’ll make sure that we build and maintain strong strategic relationships with our stakeholders. You will manage the sales process from beginning to end – from onboarding our customers to after-sales customer management. As such, you must develop deep understanding of the clients’ key business drivers influencing their decision-making process and how such decisions relate to their requirements for our services. You’ll also see to it that our clients’ outsourcing needs and our own objectives for the account are perfectly in sync.

Devising win-win solutions for all parties

You’ll be a steward to our clients, playing a pivotal role in helping our clients achieve their business goals – You must be able to ‘own’ the whole sales cycle, work it from start to finish, and manage a pipeline of opportunities. As you tend to our clients’ best interests, so should you represent ours by being on the lookout for opportunities to cross-sell our other services. Collecting fees from clients and tracking outstanding payments also fall on your shoulders.

New Business Development

Develop new opportunities from new leads, either through your own network, referrals or from our own marketing efforts. You should be able to get our new customers excited about our services, educate them on our products, and turn them into long-term satisfied customers.

Staying at the forefront of operational excellence

You’ll be the main visionary and strategist for our regional plans. As such, you must understand the clients’ business needs inside and out. You’ll be the go-to person for the overall operations—taking charge of all the resources—including technology, manpower and standard operating procedures—needed to run the operations smoothly and seamlessly.

Driving team success

Apart from the technical aspects of the role, you’ll also create a culture of collaboration, positive learning and teamwork. You’ll be the heart of the account team, resolving conflicts among members and ensuring that respect for individual differences always prevails. More importantly, you’ll lay the groundwork for the future, ensuring we have the next generation ready to move up (or across) and fill roles at the company. You will be working closely with our Global Head of Sales Operations, Global Head of Product and Applications, Procurement Manager, Sales Coordinator, Finance, and third-party business partners about technical product presentations and presales briefings that will equip you when meeting customers.

If you -

  • have a bachelor’s degree
  • have at least 2 years of sales experience in the corporate (global) environment (preferably in the IT/Telecom sector and/or enterprise services)
  • are customer-centric and sales-driven (commission-based), detail-oriented, organized, and have a hands-on approach to solution-building for our customers and business partners
  • are a strong team player, excellent English communication, and interpersonal skills
  • have the ability to present complex topics to senior leadership
  • are excellent in problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • have the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
