Employee Spotlight: Meet Stephanie

Hi Stephanie, we're excited to get to know you! Let's start off easy - where are you from, and what brought you to The Netherlands? 

Hi! And I'm excited to tell you!

I am from Lebanon and moved here about 5 years ago with my entire family for a better future. We all live a maximum of 30 minutes away from each other and have each made ourselves a home, and are - dare I say - thriving.

Nice to hear you get to stay close to your family! And what about Blue Wireless, how did you end up here?

We moved here during Covid (throwback!) and the market was pretty tight, so I took up a couple of odd jobs. The first marketing gig that I landed was in 2022 at another tech company, and that helped me get a solid foundation of the industry. I then started at Blue Wireless as marketing manager in 2024 and couldn't be happier!

Interesting, can you tell us a bit more about your journey within Blue Wireless?

On the first day on the job, I felt an immense sense of trust from my colleagues who were showing me the ropes. There is always a lot to learn in the industry (be it marketing or telecom), and everyone is eager to help each other adjust. I love how dynamic everything is, and how much freedom I have to explore new ideas and put them to the test. My role is quite dynamic, alongside Cassandra, we take care of everything marketing related from social media to our general brand identity and presence, to events and more.

Speaking of The Netherlands, what would you say makes Blue Wireless Amsterdam special and why should people work here?

Good question...The most obvious thing that comes to mind is the community that we have built within the company. I often go to said climbing gym with a bunch of colleagues and we have the best time there! At work everyone is extremely supportive and just wants to see you thrive - even higher management - and they help you do that by providing the right tools and a healthy mix between guidance and autonomy. I feel myself actively growing in every aspect and would encourage anyone to have that experience.
